12:00 pm Soul Science Lab
Soul Science Lab is a Brooklyn-based music and multimedia duo that
translates stories into soul stirring sounds and dynamic visuals. The
5-piece band concert delivers a fusion of upbeat and universal selfempowerment
messages wrapped in an even dose of smooth grooving
hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul and afrobeat rhythms on the journey to reach
their highest potential. There are challenges, trials, and contradictions
failure in achieving this mission will impact generations
to come. Presented by Lincoln Center Family-Linc
1:00 pm Kofago Dance Ensemble
Come enjoy a heart-pounding performance by
Kofago Dance Ensemble, followed by an interactive
workshop. Kofago’s work is rooted in traditional African
culture and ritual that is used to promote healing
among their dancers, musicians and the audience.
2:00 pm Mariachi Aguila Real de Miguel Ponce
New York’s Greatest Mariachi. Under the direction of
Miguel Ponce, Mariachi Aguila Real NYC is a traditional
Mariachi band whose members come from generations
of Mariachi musicians. They have thrilled audiences at
Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy
Center, Radio City Music Hall, and many more.
1:30 & 2:30pm The Lunettes
The Reunion: We are family! Join the interactive theatre company
The Lunettes (The Queens Bee, JCAL ICF 2018) for their newest
show. Attendees of all ages will have a VIP invitation to the wackiest
and most entertaining family reunion to ever hit New York City. Don’t
miss out on the family photos, corny jokes, hidden talents, and bonding
activities— grandma will be so upset if you are unable to make it!
3:00 pm Queensboro Dance Festival
JCAL proudly presents the Queensboro Dance Festival, featuring a vibrant
array of Queens-based dance companies of all cultures and styles.

12:00 pm Elite Marching Band of Queens
The Elite Marching Band of Queens NY is a group
of disciplined young musicians that put in long
hours of rehearsal time. They are a self motivated
and driven team that comes together to celebrate
music with tapping toes and pounding hearts.
1:00 pm Jahlani Roberts and Friends
Jahlani Andrew Roberts is a multi-talented, young and
upcoming performance artist with a focus on Steel Pan
and drums. He has enjoyed notable performances
at The Wendy Williams Show, Citi Field, and The
Barclay Center, to name a few. Jahlani has won
competitions in the US and Trinidad, and he toured
in Africa, sharing his talent and love for Steel Pan with
people from Morocco, Abidjan, Senegal and Nigeria.
2:00 pm Keith Jordan Band
Enjoy some Sunday jazz with the Keith Jordan Band.
A Jamaica local, Jordan writes and performs original
music throughout the tri-state area and teaches
music at Francis Lewis High School in Queens.

Together we can engage our creative
sides and help bring Carter’s threedimensional
murals to life! And play
game at New York Islanders booth or
arts & crafts at Queens Botanical
Garden’s table.
