Police searching for
Woodhaven siblings who were
last seen with parents who
don’t have guardianship
Th e NYPD is looking for the parents
who took off with their children in
Woodhaven on the morning of Th ursday,
March 25, and have not returned. Th e
parents currently do not have guardianship
over the two children, police said.
Authorities say that Eddie Bellas, 37,
and Mekaybew McNeal, 27, took their
children from a home located at 86-22
98th St. in Woodhaven at at 11:30 a.m. on
March 25. Police indicated that Bellas and
McNeal do not have guardianship over
the girls, identifi ed as 4-year-old Shiloh
Bellas and 8-month-old Aaliyah Bellas.

return them home, police said. Th ey were

Cops seek man who stole cellphones
from Ridgewood T-Mobile store
Th e NYPD is looking for a man who snagged two cellphones from
a T-Mobile in Ridgewood earlier this month.
On Th ursday, March 18, around 11:45 a.m., an unidentifi ed man
walked into the T-Mobile, located at 66-97 Fresh Pond Road, according
to the police.
Aft er scanning the store for a few moments, the man made his way
to a section of the store where phones were displayed, video of the
He then took out a pair of scissors and cut the security wires
attached to two phones, cops said.
With the phones in hand, the man ran out of the store and fl ed the
location in an unknown direction.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

call on the morning of Tuesday,
It was the latest in a series
of anti-Asian attacks that have
occurred in recent days across
New York City amid protests
calling for an end to the bigotry,
and justice for the victims.
Th e latest episode happened
at about 11:30 a.m. on March 23

victim received a phone call and
began talking in her native language.
As she did so, she also began
recording the bigot as he continued

Law enforcement sources
reported that the suspect then
approached the victim and
slapped the cellphone out of
her hand. He then picked up
the device, a Samsung S9, and
threw it on the ground, causing
further damage to the device.
Fearing for her safety, cops
said, the victim picked up her
obliterated phone and ran into
another subway car. Police said
the suspect departed the 7 train
at the next stop, Mets-Willets
Point, and fl ed in an unknown
