Have a ‘Carnival’ of a time at Kids’ Expo “There’s no party too big or too small for Frankie’s Carnival,” said Wayne Baker, president and owner of Frankie’s Carnival Time Inc. The party rental company primarily works with small-time parties, including backyard birthday parties and fundraisers, but Baker says it has also worked to provide tents and party supplies to the likes of the “Today Show,” Rachael Ray and even President Barack Obama, among many others. The company provides clowns, tents, chocolate fountains, dunk tanks and party makeup for those looking to host any kind of party. “We do everything,” Baker said. The company will be participating in the upcoming Queens Courier Kids’ Expo on April 6. Baker said his staff is excited to participate in the expo because many of his customers come from Queens and he himself was born and raised here. “I’m a Queens guy,” he said. “I graduated from Jamaica High School, I got married in Middle Village and I grew up in Bayside.” The business has been operating out of their 34-35 East Tremont Avenue location in the Bronx for more than 50 years, according to Baker.
