Main character Sybil Stevens is a Chicago-based flight attendant who finds her life completely changed when she is the sole survivor of a devastating plane crash, and has to deal with the unexpected aftereffects of both the crash and her newfound fame. The Secret Theater is located at 44-02 23rd Street in LIC. Shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday start at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $18. SATURDAY, FEB. 8 Celebrate the Year of the Horse with the Queens Botanical Garden (QBG) from 1 to 4 p.m.  Come for the afternoon, which will include craft activities and performances by the New York Chinese Chorus. SUNDAY, FEB. 9 Flushing Town Hall is holding a “Make a Wish on Hanji” workshop at 1 p.m. Korean folk paintings are drawn on Hanji (Korean traditional Mulberry paper) and this incredibly versatile paper is also used to make a vast array of arts and crafts. Write your wishes for the New Year on Hanji and create a one-of-a-kind art piece to take home. Admission is $10 for members and $8 for students (materials included). FRIDAY, FEB. 14 Chilean vocalist Natalia Bernal, keyboardist Mike Eckroth and seven-string guitarist Jason Ennis blend the infectious rhythms and nuanced songwriting traditions of Latin America in original compositions and choice picks from the Great American Songbook. The event starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $15 for non members and $10 for members and ‘TWO NICE’ TUESDAY, FEB. 25, The Creek and the Cave presents “Two Nice” during open mic night, every Tuesday through March 4. Fresh off their first place finish in the Nature Valley “Pleasant Gentleman” pageant, professional good dudes Jay Dean and Tynan DeLong bring you “Two Nice Guys.” Open mic performers get two minutes to “Take the Choo Choo to Chuckletown!” So come out, stay loose and have fun!
