St. Agnes Academic High School - College Point, College Bound
For more than a century, St. Agnes Academic High
School has educated, empowered and inspired young
women. Founded by the Sisters of St. Dominic of
Amityville, St. Agnes combines a rich history of
academic rigor with a nurturing environment paving
the way for success in high school, college and
beyond.
St. Agnes is a community of intellectually competent,
socially aware and morally discerning young women.
We embrace the richness of our cultural diversity;
foster the God-given talent of each individual and
respect the dignity of every student.
According to a study by Harvard University, students
enrolled in all girls schools:
• Set higher educational goals.
• Feel in control of their choices.
• Achieve at higher levels in science, reading and math.
Our faculty knows this is true because we know how to
educate girls. The success of 11,000 St. Agnes High
School alumni proves it time and time again.
Small by design, academic programs are
structured to meet the needs of every student. St.
Agnes offers an Honors Program, Advanced
Placement courses and college credit courses. In
addition to a rapidly expanding STEM program, St.
Agnes has partnerships with Molloy College, St.
John’s University and SUNY Albany, to name
just a few.
Teamwork and leadership define a rich array of
athletic and extracurricular activities. More than
50 teams and clubs are open to all students.
Because of our size, every student has the
opportunity to lead and succeed.
Visit St. Agnes Academic High School, meet our
students and faculty and start your journey from
College Point to College Bound. For more
information, please contact Ms. Katie Gaughan,
Assistant Principal at 718-353-6276. We look
forward to seeing you at Open House
