She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Charles Donowski, loving mother of Kenneth Donowski and Felecia Donowski, and mother-in-law of Danielle, cherished grandmother of Kenneth, Anthony, Isabella, Dean and Joseph, and dear sister of Fina Vicital, Thomas DiGiovanna, Theresa Fasulo and Louis DiGiovanna. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Francis de Paola Church on Wednesday, Dec. 31, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth. +++ TIMOTHY MICHAEL BERGIN died Sunday, Dec. 20, at the age of 47. He was the cherished son of Richard and Eileen Ann Bergin, beloved brother of Richard Bergin (Lisa), Patrick Bergin (Marianne), Edward “Teddy” Bergin (Gina), Kevin Bergin, Sean Bergin (Jeanette) and Eileen Cunningham (Steve), loving godfather of Sean, Emily and Paisley, and dear nephew and uncle of many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. He was a first responder with the NYPD assisting with the rescue and recovery operations at Ground Zero following the terrorist attacks at the former World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. He was also a past-president of the NYPD’s Emerald Society. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Michelle O’Neill Foundation.
