She was the beloved wife of Mario Burriesci, loving mother of Andrew Burriesci and Biagio Burriesci, mother-in-law of Valerie and Annamaria, cherished grandmother of Anthony, Gabriella, Marco, Grace and Luca, and dear sister of Antonino Como, Salvatore Como, Giovanna Sapienza, Antonina Maria Visocaro, Giovanni Como, Providenza Trifi lio and Francesca Violante. She is also survived by many loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of fl owers, memorial donations may be made to The Dravet Syndrome Foundation. A Mass of Christian Burial was fofered at St. Helen’s Church on Wednesday, Dec. 29, followed by entombment at Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth. +++ EUGENIA MARTINEZ died Thursday, Dec. 23, at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of Eduardo Martinez, loving mother of ELizabeth Padillam Jose Pdilla, Rosemary Padilla, Frances Padilla, Angelina Mandracchia, Eduard Martinez and the late Mariano Padilla, cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandmother of six great-great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was off ered at St. Stanislaus on Tuesday, Dec. 28, followed by interment at Cypress Hills Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth. +++ WILLIAM RIVERA died Monday, Dec. 27, at the age of 73. He was the beloved husband of Emily S. Rivera, loving father of Yamel Forbes, cherished grandfather of Isabella, Gabriella and Anabella and dear brother of Yvonne Martinez and the late Marc S. Rivera. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam era.
