Queensboro Unico hosts Toys for Tots event
More than 2,000 toys
were presented
at Queensboro
Unico’s Toys for Tots event
on Saturday, Dec. 18.
In addition to the toys,
Unico donated $500,
collected from private
donors, members, friends
and associates of the
organization.
The annual toy drive
assists in providing
Christmas toys and
gifts to children in need
throughout the community
and surrounding
neighborhoods!
The event was sponsored
by Queensboro Unico
President and Event Chairman
Gaspare Mistretta and
Co-Chairman Joel Lapadura
in collaboration with
the U. S. Marine Corps.
Unico National is the
largest Italian American
service organization in
the USA.
