She was the beloved daughter of Lucy and the late Zygmunt, loving sister of Adam, Mark, Jack and Elizabeth Cortes and sister-in-law of Ann, Theresa and Victor. She was also a cherished aunt. PROKOPIAK died on Wednesday, December 3, at the age of 84. He was the husband of the late Stephanie Prokopiak, loving father of Richard Prokopiak and Valerie Szymanski, father-in-law of Judy, cherished grandfather of Andrew and Ashley, dear brother of Mary Hannigan and Helena Pataky and best friend of Joseph Okolie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.
