KEVIN K. SMITH died on Thursday, Dec. 2, at the age of 52. He was the beloved husband of the late Cindy,
cherished son of Thomas and the late Margaret Smith and loving brother of Thomas, Patrick and Kelly Anna
Smith. Mass of Christian Burial offered at Our Lady of Hope Church on Tuesday, Dec. 7, followed by interment at
St. Charles Cemetery, Farringdale, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.
ROBERT J. PLATTA died on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the age of 86. He was the beloved father of Suann Dugan,
cherished grandfather of Samantha, Jack and Alex, loving soulmate and love-of-the-life to Joanne Friedman and
loved by Jessica and Kenneth. Mr. Platta was a United States Navy Veteran. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations
may be made to Best Friends Animal Society. Private cremation was held on Friday, Dec. 3, at Fresh Pond Crematory,
Middle Village, and memorial visitation was at Papavero Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 11. Interment of
cremains followed at Wading River Cemetery, Wading River, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
IRENE KICHINSKI died on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J.
Kichinski, loving mother of Robert Kichinski, Richard Kichinski, Diane Delliliune, Christine Diele and the late
Kathleen Kichinski and mother-in-law of Lorraine and Joseph, cherished grandmother of Kelly, Robert, Lauren,
Joseph and Jacklyn and great grandmother of Skylar and Brody. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St.
Stanislaus Church on Monday, Nov. 29, followed by interment at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale,
under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.
JUDY CLARK died on Sunday, Dec. 5, at the age of 66. She was the beloved mother of Michelle Borman, loving
grandmother of Emma, Katelyn and Matthew, cherished daughter of Elizabeth Bilodeau and dear sister of Patricia
Bilodeau, Marie Cantelmo and Vincent Bilodeau. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral
services were held at Papavero Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 10, followed by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery,
Ridgewood, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.
