Glendale school sends some love overseas for Christmas

The students at Redeemer
Lutheran
School, located at
69-26 Cooper Ave. in Glendale,
are helping to make
the holidays special for
children overseas.
All the students at the
school — which goes from
pre-K all the way to eighth
grade — participated in
the annual Operation
Christmas Child donation
program as part of Samaritan’s
Purse, which will
deliver much-needed supplies
to children overseas.
In all, the students at Redeemer
Lutheran School
fi lled 123 shoeboxes with
small toys, school supplies,
clothes, cleaning supplies
and hygiene products.
These shoeboxes have now
been shipped out and will
reach their fi nal destinations

Christ the King High School Announces Principal’s Honor Roll
Christ the King High School
congratulated students who
achieved the Principal’s Honor
Roll. The Principal’s Honor Roll
is for the top fi ve students in each
grade. The grade average of the top
students in each class range from 97
to over 100%.
“I congratulate the students who
have achieved the Principal’s Honor
Roll,” stated Principal Geri Martinez.
“Their hard work and dedication to
academics has paid off . We are very
proud of them.”
The honorees include the
