The street festival along Seneca Avenue between Myrtle and Catalpa avenues featured vendors and booths representing local eateries including Nepalese Indian Restaurant, Rudy’s Bakery and Ridgewood Eats restaurant. Guests also enjoyed live music from Bobby Svet, Dino Mezic and Richie Gecsedi. Ridgewood Eats was also recognized by the Myrtle Avenue BID for its 10 years of business in the community. PHOTOS BY MARCIN ZURAWICZ Hundreds enjoyed fine food, drink and music during the LIC Flea and Food’s Oktoberfest celebration on Oct. 17 at The Shops at Atlas Park center green in Glendale. Vendors from the flea served up a variety of delicious treats including empanadas, barbecued meats and fried ice cream, while adults got a chance to enjoy locally brewed beers.
