It’s time to exercise your imagination and enter the Scary Story contest. We dare kids from the 3rd grade through the 8th grade, who live in Queens or Bushwick to send their best ghost stories, vampire tales and weird Halloween stories to us. Stories must be at least 500 words or less. All stories will be judged by ORIGINALITY, CREATIVITY, GRAMMAR AND GENERAL SCARINESS. WE WANT YOUR IMAGINATION AND YOUR ORIGINAL IDEAS. NO COPYING ALLOWED! The story must be written by the child submitting the entry. It will be judged accordingly. The winning stories will appear in the Queens Courier, Ridgewood Times and Times Newsweekly after Halloween with a picture of the winners.
