MARIA CHIARENZA died on
Thursday, September 12, at the
age of 85. She was the wife of the
late Rosario Chiarenza, loving
mother of Antonino Chiarenza,
mother-in-law of Francesca,
cherished grandmother of Rosario
and Rosa Chiarenza and
Maria Linda and Rocco Biundo,
great-grandmother of Antonino,
Francesca, Antonino, Arianna
and Giuseppe Salvatore, and dear
sister of Rosa Pizzolato. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered on
Saturday, September 14, at Our
Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village,
followed by entombment at
St. John Cemetery Cloister, Middle
Village, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27
Grand Ave., Maspeth. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations
may be made to Autism Speaks,
autismspeaks.org.

PROJKA I. NAJDOSKI of
Larchmont, New York died on
Sunday, September 8, at the age
of 82. A native of Kostinci, Macedonia,
she was the beloved wife
of Angele Najdoski and devoted
mother of Gordon Najdoski and
Susan Najdoski. A Divine Liturgy
was offered at St. Clement
of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox
Church, Flushing, followed
by interment at Middle Patent
Rural Cemetery, Bedford, New
York, under the direction of
Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood

Ave., Ridgewood.

ROBERT T. DROST JR. died on
Saturday, September 7, at the age
of 87. The former proprietor of
Atlas Sporting Goods, Brooklyn,
he was a beloved father, grandfather
and uncle. He was also a U.S.
Army veteran who served during
the Korean Conflict. Services
were offered on Friday, September
13, at Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth,
followed by interment at Mount
Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth.

MARTHA QUIROZ of Brooklyn
died on Sunday, September
1, at the age of 83. A native of
Toluca, Mexico, she was the
beloved wife of Ignacio Quiroz
and devoted mother of Edward
Quiroz, Daniel Quiroz and Pablo
Quiroz. She is also survived by
five grandchildren. Services

followed by interment at Linden
Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood.
