VICTOR NAVARRO died on
Sunday, September 15, at the age
of 53. He was the beloved son of Lillian
Torres and Felix Hernandez,
loving father of Lorenzo Navarro,
dear brother of Michele and Ruben
Rivera, David and Jeannette
Navarro and Anthony and Kati
Hernandez, and cherished uncle of
Jeremy, Bryan, Everett and Ethan.
He is also survived by many loving
aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends. Services will be off ered
today, Thursday, September 19,
at 10:30 a.m. at Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth,
followed by interment at Mount
Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth.

EDWIN BRUCE HARLACHER
died on Wednesday, September 11,
at the age of 72. He was the beloved
husband of Shirley Harlacher,
loving father of Eric William
Harlacher and Crystal Lee Passorotti,
devoted brother of William
Eugene Harlacher Jr. and Paul
Brian Harlacher, dear son-in-law
of Loretta and John Meister and
dear brother-in-law of Margaret,
Susan, Sandra and Debra. Edwin
served as a gunner’s mate aboard
the USS Constellation CV-64 from
1965 to 1969 during the Vietnam
War. He worked for the New York
City Transit Authority for 32
years. Services will be offered
today, Thursday, September 19,
at 10:30 a.m. at Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth,
followed by cremation at All Souls
Crematory, East Elmhurst.

RICHARD MATZELLE of
Glendale died on Sunday, September
15, at the age of 87. A native
of Gottschee, he was the beloved
husband of Rose Matzelle, devoted
father of Richard Matzelle Jr.,
Christine Napolitano, Linda Varrone
and Robert Matzelle, son of
the late John and Rose Matzelle and
dear brother of Erna Stimitz. He is
also survived by 13 grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren. He
was a member of the Gottscheer
Bowling Club and an avid golfer.
A Mass of Christian Burial was
off ered at Sacred Heart Church,
Glendale, followed by interment
at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle
Village, under the direction of
Werst & LaBella Funeral Home,

of Ridgewood died on
Saturday, September 14, at the age
of 85. A native of Polizzi Generosa,
Sicily, Italy, he was the beloved
husband of Maria Stella, devoted
father of Angela Rammazzisi
and Martino Monfoletto and
dear brother of Teresa Viviano
and Philip Monfoletto. He is also
survived by three grandchildren.

of 79. He was the beloved husband

grandfather of Abigail, Madeleine
and Emely, and dear brother of
Raymond Muchow. He was a U.S.
Army veteran and a retired NYPD
