crowns culinary champion
Atria Forest Hills, a local senior
living community, held a cooking
competition between Kevin
Hernandez, Director of Culinary Services
and representatives from Senior
Care EMS as part of the group’s annual
company-wide Chef Showdown.
The competitors from Senior Care
were Martina Bacarella, Haidee
DeJesus, and Maria Katia Angeles,
and they went head-to-head Hernandez
to create delicious dishes with
one requirement, they must use the
staple ingredient: corn.
The competition was judged
by a panel of residents who selected
Hernandez as the culinary
champion.
