OBITUARIES
GASPARE CHIARENZA died Tuesday, July 28, at the age of 83.
He was the beloved husband of Vittoria Chiarenza, loving father of
Antonino Chiarenza, Rosalia Gerbo and John Chiarenza and fatherin
law of the late Francesco Gerbo. He was the cherished grandfather
of Michelangelo, Francesca, Erica, Gaspare, Matthew and Madison
and great-grandfather of Sofia. A Mass of Christian Burial was held
Friday, July 31, at Our Lady of Hope Church, followed by entombment
at St. John Cemetery Resurrection Mausoleum, Middle Village, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

JOANNE HILDEBRANDT died Monday, July 27 at the age of 73. She
was the beloved mother of Robin Van Aken, Cheryl Ann Martinkat,
John Hildebrandt and Steven Hildebrandt and cherished grandmother
of Kristen, Lauren, Nicole, Gabriella and Emma. Funeral services
were held Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Papavero Funeral Home, followed by
interment at Lutheran All-Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

GIUSEPPE BABINO died Thursday, July 30, at the age of 86. He
was the beloved husband of Michela Babino, loving father of Luciana
D’Agosto and Franca Gress and father-in-law of Louie and Steve. He
was the cherished grandfather of Theresa, Joseph and Willie and
great-grandfather of Louie.

GERALD HENRY CORMIER died Tuesday, July 28, at the age of
90. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy J. Cormier, loving father
of Kathy Dalto (Louis), Robert Cormier (Cynthia) and Ann Cormier
(James Flores), cherished grandfather of Susan, Kari and Kristen,
dear brother and uncle. Mr. Cormier was a United States Army Veteran.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Saturday, Aug. 1 at St.
Stanislaus Church, followed by interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery,
Maspeth, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.
