Duo stabs man several times after verbal
dispute in Long Island City: NYPD
The NYPD is looking for two men who allegedly stabbed a man multiple times in
Long Island City at the beginning of the month.
On Wednesday, July 1, around 11:41 a.m., a 33-year-old man was in front of 40-08
12th St., when he got into a verbal dispute with two unidentifi ed men, according to
the NYPD.
The dispute turned violent when the two men allegedly stabbed the 33-year-old
multiple times in the stomach, shoulder, ribs and right hand, the police said.
The victim was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Cornell Hospital in stable
condition.
One of the suspects is described as being around 6 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing
around 190 pounds, cops say. He was last seen wearing a multicolor long sleeve shirt,
light colored pants, light colored sneakers and a black and white baseball hat.
The second suspect is described as being around 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing
around 180 pounds, according to the NYPD. He was last seen wearing a white
tank top, dark colored shorts, dark colored baseball hat, black white sneakers and
glasses.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Group of seven assaults and robs man
in Jackson Heights: NYPD
The NYPD is looking for seven men who beat up and robbed a man in Jackson
Heights earlier this month.
On Saturday, July 25, around 2:20 a.m., a 40-year-old man was walking on the
northwest corner of 90th Street and 37th when a group of six men approached him
and began to punch and kick him until he fell, according to the NYPD.
While the man was lying on the ground, the group stole his cell phone and approximately
$100, cops said.
The man was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst by EMS personnel in
critical condition.
All of the suspects are described as being between 16 and 20 years old, according
to the authorities. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
