EAMON J. BLAKE of Middle Village
died on Monday, July 24, at the
age of 61. A native of Queens, he was
the beloved husband of Kathryn Blake,
devoted father of Kathryn Gold and
Meagan Blake and cherished grandfather
of Morgan Emily Gold. He was
a member of the Emerald Pipe Society.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be
off ered at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, July 28,
at St. Margaret Church, Middle Village,
followed by interment at Fresh Pond
Crematory, Middle Village, under the
direction of George Werst Funeral
Home, 71-41 Cooper Ave., Glendale.

MICHAEL YOUNGHESE died on
Monday, July 24, at the age of 75. He
was the beloved husband of Connie
Younghese, loving father of Michele
Siano and Louis Younghese, father-inlaw
of John, cherished grandfather of
Angela and Steven and dear brother
of Rosemary Bonocore. He is also survived
by many loving nieces, nephews
and friends. Younghese was a U.S.
Army veteran who served during the
Vietnam War. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be off ered at 9:45 a.m. on
Thursday, July 27, at St. Margaret
Church, Middle Village, followed by
interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle
Village, under the direction of
Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth.

FRANK ROSA died on Sunday,
July 23, at the age of 94. He was a
director and producer at WNYC-TV
31 Mayoral News for over 40 years;
he also produced the documentary
entitled “City of Magic.” He was the
beloved husband of Marie A. Rosa,
loving father of Michael F. Rosa and
Marie C. Rosa, father-in-law of Tracey,
cherished grandfather of Alana and
Giovanni, dearest uncle of Francesco,
Anna, Giovanni and Alberto and dear
cousin of Celso Mion. He was a U.S. Army
veteran who served during World
War II. A Mass of Christian Burial will
be off ered at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July
28, at Transfi guration Church, Maspeth,
followed by interment at St. John
Cemetery, Middle Village, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

on Monday, July 24, at the age of 85. A native
of Soko Banja, Yugoslavia, she was
the beloved wife of Josif Subu. Services

she was the wife of the late Nicholas
Wohlfarth and devoted mother of

Village died on Friday, July 21, at the
age of 86. She was the wife of the late
