Queens softball players
take over Citi Field

Several young girls got the chance
to hone their soft ball skills at
Citi Field last weekend during a
Junior Mets clinic presented by Sloan
Kettering Cancer Center.
Girls ages 8-14 in softball little
leagues from across Queens took
the fi eld in Flushing to work on their
hitting, fi elding and throwing with
help from New York Mets players and
coaches on Saturday, July 15.
At the conclusion of the clinic, the
girls received an exclusive Junior
Mets t-shirt and tickets for a future
Mets game.
