CB5Q Seeks New Staff Member
Community Board 5, Queens, seeks an intelligent, diligent and caring staff
member. Person to be hired needs to be able to multitask well, have good
computer skills and writing skills, and be able to work well with others.
Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: administering the board’s
budget; responding to residents’ requests regarding services provided by
municipal agencies; writing and answering correspondence; administering the
web site and Facebook page; performing special reports as needed; and
administrative office functions.
This is a part-time staff position, likely at least 24 hours per week, with the
possibility of full-time employment. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s
degree from an accredited college and office administration experience, or at
least a high school diploma, as well as administrative work experience.
