DEATH NOTICES +++ JOHN T. WALTHERS, president of the Ridgewood Times Printing and Publishing Co., Inc. died suddenly on Thursday, June 12, at the age of 59. A native of Ridgewood, he was a graduate of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal School, High School of Arts and Design, City University of New York and Brooklyn College. He joined the Ridgewood Times/Times Newsweekly team in 1984 and became president of the corporation in 1991. He was the beloved son of Maureen E. Walthers, and the late John E., dearest brother of PatriciaMack, loving uncle ofAva and IsabelMack; also survived by many relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, June 14, at Our Lady of theMiraculousMedal Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village.
