Meeting Artists At Sunnyside Art Fair Scores of Sunnyside residents perused the work of up and coming artists during the seventh Art Fair held by Queen of Angels Church on Sunday, June 15. Held at the church’s parish hall on Skillman Avenue, the program included raffles and refreshments for guests. Vascones graduated from Regis High School in the Upper East Side on Saturday, June 7. David was chosen by his class to be the graduation speaker. He also received the Jesuit Secondary Education Association Award, given to a student who exemplifies the ideal graduate of Jesuit education. He will attend Williams College in the fall. David is the son of Carla and Samuel Vascones of Middle Village.
