ALAN J. REITTER of Ridgewood
and Centerport, NY, former owner of
Ridgewood Chapels Inc., died on Saturday,
June 9, at the age of 79. A native
of New York, he was the husband of
the late Patricia Marrone, devoted
father of Susan and John Broderick,
Glen and Donna Reitter and Alison
and Michael Orlando, dear brother
of Jane Mann and cherished grandfather
of Patricia Carolyn and Danielle
Reitter, Sean and Kailey Broderick
and Will and Abigail Orlando. He
was a member of the Lions Club of
Ridgewood and Bushwick, a veteran
of the United States Coast Guard and
a licensed USCG captain. Services
were off ered at graveside at Green-
Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, under the
direction of Morton Funeral Home/
Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview
Ave., Ridgewood.

JOHN W. CVEK died on Saturday,
June 9, at the age of 44. He was the
beloved son of Teresa and the late
Stjepan Cvek. He is also survived by
many loving aunts, uncles, cousins
and friends. A Mass of Christian
Burial was off ered on Wednesday,
June 13, at Our Lady of the Miraculous
Medal Church, Ridgewood, followed
by interment at St. Raymond Cemetery,
Bronx, under the direction of
Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth.

MIGDALIA RAMOS of Ridgewood
died on Saturday, June 9, at
the age of 70. A native of Mayaguez,
Puerto Rico, he was the beloved wife
of Francisco Ramos and devoted
mother of Migdalia Ballester, Diana
Teran and Mark Esteves. She is also
survived by seven grandchildren.
