Thousands enjoy maspeth street fair
Bright, warm skies greeted thousands of participants at the Grand Avenue Street Festival on Sunday,
June 9, in Maspeth. The day-long fair included rides, games, exhibits, food, arts and crafts, vendors
and live music provided by the Joe Fuoco Music Center. The Maspeth Chamber of Commerce, in
conjunction with the Kiwanis Club of Maspeth and the Maspeth Lions Club, sponsored the event. The
Ridgewood Times, Times Newsweekly and Queens Courier were among the corporate sponsors.
