A beautiful springtime stroll in Woodhaven
Several blocks of Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven were closed
on Saturday, June 1, for the “Woodhaven Walk” presented by
the Woodhaven Business Improvement District and the city’s
Department of Transportation.. Hundreds of residents enjoyed an
afternoon of games, rides and leisurely activities. The program is
part of an ongoing eff ort to promote Jamaica Avenue as a local
