REX MANUEL VILLARRUZ died Sunday, May 16, at the age of
58. He was the beloved husband of Lelanie Horario, loving father of
Laura Elizabeth Villarruz and Lexie Anne Villarruz and dear brother
of Roy, Jun Rene, Ray Salvador and Maria Lizanne Villarruz. He is
also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral
services will be held at Papavero Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27,
followed by private cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, under the
direction of Papvero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

SOPHIE MEDITZ, of Ridgewood, died Saturday, May 22, at the age
of 90. A native of Hasenfeld Gottschee, Yugoslavia, she was the beloved
wife of the late Frank Meditz and devoted mother of Harold Meditz,
Frank Meditz, Anita Meditz and Linda Campione. She is also survived
by four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was off ered at St.
Matthias R.C. Church, followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery,
under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels.
