Queensboro Unico is Back and in a Big way!
Donating up to $3700 to causes such as education toward
Francesco DiMarco McClancy tuition, sacred heart parish
pantry, tunnels to towers and the Italian American museum.
The club inducted 5 new members on that evening!
Unico National President Frank DeFrank officiated the
ceremony and new members were sworn in officially: new
members, Joel Lapadura, Dom Salce, john Amore, Anthony
Dibennedetto, Tony Iannatelli. Welcome to our organization!
Queensboro Unico participated in the Columbus circle rally
held May 12th to restore the Columbus holiday on the NYC
School’s calendar!
Members of several Italian American groups were in attendance
to support Columbus and Italian Heritage and the contributions
Italian Americans have made to our great country!
Unico was well represented by several chapters including Ralph
Contini 2nd VP Unico National &
Celebrity and advocates Joe Piscopo & Bo Dietle were in
attendance as well as NYC mayoral candidate and founder
of the guardian Angels Curtis Sliwa was there to support the
Columbus Rally!
Unico is the largest Italian American service organization in
the USA US IT
President Gaspare J. Mistretta led the group and held a well attended
and well organized evening that included presentations and speakers!
Entertainment was provided by member and friend: Al Amico!!
The organization celebrated with a return dinner meeting celebration!
On May 4th at Gino’s in New Hyde Park.
