FOR BREAKING NEWS VISIT www.queenscourier.com MAY 7, 2015 • The Queens Courier 20 New Bushwick senior care center opens Senior leadership from CenterLight Healthcare gathered on April 24 for a ceremonial ribbon cutting marking the grand opening of the company’s newest Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) center, serving the Bushwick/Williamsburg communities. Located at 130 Bushwick Ave., this is CenterLight’s third PACE center in Brooklyn, which provides medical care, meals, home care and transportation to local seniors who might otherwise require nursing home care. Two members of The Corona Senior Center Dancers gave an impassioned dance performance in traditional South American costumes. These seniors showed their Latin dance skills at the CenterLight ribbon cutting. CenterLight PACE Bushwick member Mary Clement offered attendees a moving testimonial on how her participation in the program has positively impacted her life and health.
