Children got a chance to sit behind the wheel of firetrucks and inspect equipment, while residents were able to talk with their local firefighters and learn fire prevention tips. Beautiful day for the Midville street fair Scores of Middle Villagers took to Metropolitan Avenue on May 3 for the neighborhood’s street festival sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Glendale. Children enjoyed inflatable rides and clown tricks, while all guests enjoyed browsing through the offerings of local food and clothing vendors.
