Owner Killed In His Bushwick Bodega Gunman Came Calling For Blood Security camera images of the suspect who gunned down a Bushwick bodega owner last Thursday, Apr. 17. by Robert Pozarycki The gunman who walked into a Bushwick bodega last Thursday morning, Apr. 17, and fatally shot its owner remains at large as of press time, police reported. Law enforcement sources said 52- year-old Swadh Maged was gunned down inside the 427 Central Ave. Deli and Grocery, located at the corner of Central Avenue and Madison Street. Security cameras caught the shooting on tape, and the NYPD released footage of the incident last Thursday night in the hope that someone will recognize the perpetrator. According to authorities, the gunman—seen wearing a gray and yellow jacket and a black baseball cap—walked into the location at 6:45 a.m. last Thursday while holding a handgun in a plastic bag. Police said the suspect approached the counter and fired several shots at Maged, striking the victim multiple times in the chest and left arm. Seconds later, the culprit reportedly walked out of the store, entered a light-colored van and fled the scene. -SEE SHOT ON PG. 26- ©Times Newsweekly - 2014 - GKIWANIS ©Times Newsweekly - 2014 - WM
