(Beat 13) Aqrismendy Espinal, at Metropolitan Avenue, for -SEE 104 BLOTTER ON PG. 54- 11 • TIMES, THURSDAY, APRIL 24, 2014 An Ozone Park man has been charged with engaging in the sale of untaxed cigarettes and the possession of counterfeit tax stamps after an investigator assigned to the District Attorney’s Crimes Against Revenue Unit allegedly observed the defendant delivering a bag containing cartons of cigarettes to the corner newsstand across the street from the District Attorney’s Kew Gardens office. Reportedly, the cigarette packs in the bag allegedly bore counterfeit New York tax stamps. During a court-authorized search warrant at the defendant’s -SEE SMOKES ON PG. 52- Cops Seek Forest Hills Slashing Suspect The NYPD released the sketch of a man wanted for slashing a teenager at a Forest Hills intersection earlier this month. The attack reportedly occurred at 4 p.m. at the corner of 62nd Avenue and Yellowstone Boulevard. Police said the perpetrator slashed the 18-year-old male victim in the face, causing a laceration above the right ear that required many stitches to close. The victim was treated at a nearby hospital.
