the Move - NYC Parks has partnered
with City Center for an inaugural tour
to immerse dancers from all boroughs
in a world-class dance. A series of free
interactive performance are featured
by Bronx-born choreographer, teacher
and tap artist Ayodele Casel. Joining
her are a few talented guests to deliver
a special performance.

Global Mashup 3: Latin Boogaloo
Meets Klezmer - Get ready to dance to
a mix of two cultures. Flushing Town
Hall is having Spanish Fly joined by
the Mini-Klezmer AllStars, led by The
Klezmatics’ Frank London. As Spanish
Fly brings in their Latin, R&B and soul
feel to the stage along with Klezmer’s
Eastern European melodies and
rhythms, you will be on your feet.

Fertile Ground New Works

Noguchi Talks - Japanese stonecutter and Isamu Noguchi collaborator
Masatoshi Izumi is providing a lecture highlighting sculptural projects
and his relationships with Noguchi. These two men have worked together
for years and are giving everyone a chance to know their story and
accomplishments. Izumi is now a prominent artist who is president of the
Isamu Noguchi Foundation of Japan.
