Stefanie Hoegler passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 94. She
was predeceased by her husband Adolf in 2015. She is survived by her
sons Adolph and Arnold (Nancy), grandchildren Jean, Joseph (Jennifer),
and Robert (Christa) and great grandchildren Kathryn, Elliot, and
Lillian. She will be forever missed and always remain in our hearts.��
People who met her say she was fun-loving, feisty, and very social; but
up-close she was the most loving, caring and selfless person most
people have ever met. She left her family and home (Austria) in post
WW2 Europe with her husband and their 4-year-old when she was 27 to
come to America. She learned the language, became a proud citizen,
worked full-time and saved a lot so that they could buy a house for their
family within three years. She was extremely nurturing, and friends and
neighbors would love coming over because she enjoyed cooking and
feeding everyone. When asked, she could yodel like no other. She was a
strong influence in her grandkids lives and relished her time with her
great grandkids. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was ours.
Nothing but blue skies now...
She will always be our beautiful “Edelweiss.”
