In the game, Madison Rowland, who was named Tournament Most Outstanding Player, led Queens College with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Senior MacKenzie Rowland added 16 points and pulled down a game-high 19 rebounds. Sophomore Merrick Rowland alsocontributed 13 points in the victory. The winadvanced the Knightsinto the 2016 Division II Women’s Basketball Championship tournament and marks the team’s third straight year reaching the 20-win mark. The Knights are the fourth seed in the championship tournament’s East Region and will play against fi fth-seeded Holy Family on Friday, March 11, at 8:30 p.m. in a game hosted by Bentley University, in Waltham, Mass. Queens College earned a 76-69 victory over Holy Family earlier this season in non-league play. In that game, MacKenzie Rowland led her team with 28 points and 18 rebounds, while Kristen Korzevinski added 17 points and Madison Rowland had 16 points and four steals. Holy Family holds a 22-8 overall record for the year, and earned an at-large selection after falling in the semifi nals of the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference Championship.
