Feb. 24, at the age of 64. She
was the beloved wife of Thomas
Hale, loving mother of Thomas
Hale Jr. and mother-in-law of
Alyess, cherished grandmother
of THomas III and Cassie, dear
sister of Lynn Fiorio and loving
daughter of the late Michael
and Dolores Fiorino. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at
St. Stanislaus Church on Monday,
Feb. 28, followed by interment
at St. John Cemetery, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

WALTER A. GORELCZENKO
died Monday, Feb. 21, at the age of
85. He was the beloved husband
of Martha Gorelczenko, loving
father of Walter Gorelczenko
and Andrew (Tracy) Gorelczenko,
and cherished grandfather
of Mary Bess, Brady, Toby and
Zara. He is also survived by
many loving nieces, nephews
and friends. He was a U.S. Marine
Corps veteran. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at
Ascension Church on Monday,
Feb. 28, followed by interment
at Calvary Cemetery, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

Tuesday, Feb. 22, at the age of 80.
He was the beloved husband of
Lauriana Morte, loving Tatay of
Mila Rose (Roberto) Pangilinan,
Miguelito (Zion) Morte, Melvin
(Judette) Morte and Melissa
Morte, cherished Lolo of Andrew,
Andrea, Miane, Maegan, Michelle,
Maxine, Marcus, Mesh,
Matthew, Michael and Mark,
great-grandfather of Leyon, and
dearest brother, uncle and friend.
A Mass of Christian Burial was
offered at Ascension Church on
Saturday, Feb. 26, followed by
private cremation at All Souls
Crematory, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home,
Maspeth.
