CECILIA INGRASSIA died Thursday, Dec. 30, at the age of 93. She
was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ingrassia, loving mother of
Patrice Ingrassia, Paul Ingrassia and Elizabeth Ingrassia, cherished
grandmother of Sarah, Claire and Jenne, and great-grandmother of
Olivia and Grace. A graveside funeral service was held Thursday,
Jan. 13, at Calvary Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

DOMINIC A. COTICCHIO died Saturday, Jan. 8, at the age of 86. He
was the beloved husband of Doris R. Coticchio and loving father of
John, Dominic, Christian, Theresa and Dominique. Memorial mass
was offered at St. Mary’s Church on Friday, Jan. 14, after private
cremation was held Wednseday, Jan. 12, at Fresh pond Crematory,
under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

FRANCISCO LOPERA died Thursday, Jan. 6, at the age of 83. He
was the beloved husband of Maria M. Lopera, loving father of Frank
Lopera and David Lopera and father-in-law of Katja, and cherished
grandfather of Nola and Phoenix. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered
at St. Mary’s Church on Saturday, Jan. 15, followed by interment
at Mount Olivet Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

JOSEPHINE LOMBARDI died Monday, Jan. 10, at the age of 94. She
was the beloved sister of Philomena Merollo and the late Anthony
Lombardi, Frank Lombardi and Mary Senko, a cherished aunt and
great aunt of many livng nieces. nephews, great-nieces and greatnephews.
Funeral services were offered at Papvero Funeral Home
on Friday, June 14, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

89. She was the beloved wife of Louis Farinaccio, loving mother of

Maria Staudacher
passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Ashbrook
Nursing Center in Scotch Plains. She was 98 years old.
Born on November 20, 1923 in the town and city of Tschermoschnitz,
Obermitterdorf, in Yugoslavia to the late Josefa and Josef Matzelle. She migrate to
the United States on July 29th 1950, then resided in Ridgewood, NY before moving to
the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township 10 years ago.
Mrs. Staudacher was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother that
was affectionately known to everyone as Oma. She passionately loved her job as a
Knitting Mill Worker and managed a sweater shop in New York City until she retired.
Oma’s hobbies included cooking, gardening, bird watching, and day trips to Atlantic
City playing the slots machines. She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic
Church in Avenel.
She was predeceased by her husband, Adolf Staudacher, in 1991; and daughter and
son in law, Alma and Peter Joe.
Surviving are her grandsons, sons, Peter J. Joe of Avenel, Thomas J. Joe and his
wife, Michele, of Woodbridge and Steven J. Joe of Avenel and his girlfriend, Angie,
of Avenel; great grandchildren, Zachary, Thomas Jr., Katherine and Emily; and
Niece Traude Van Alstine and daughters Kim McCarthy, Carol Ann Rice, Erica
Shortreed from Canada.
Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, December 29,
2021 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel
Street, Avenel. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew
Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
