MARIE LAKNER died Wednesday, Jan. 6, at the age of 96. He was the beloved wife of the late Louis Lakner, loving mother of Thomas
Clemente and mother-in-law of Sharon, cherished grandmother of Tara, Jamie and Tracey and great-grandmother of Lukas, Vera and
Amanda, and dear sister of Joseph DePierro and Lucille Lizardy. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral
services were held at Papvero Funeral Home Monday, Jan. 11, followed by interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery, East Elmhurst, under the
direction of Papvero Funeral Home, Maspeth.
