According to police, the suspect — described as a black male, between 30 and 35 years of age, weighing between 140 and 150 lbs., and standing 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall — approached the 70-yearold female victim in the vicinity of Centre Street and Cypress Avenue at approximately 9:45 p.m. He then proceeded to punch the victim in the chest, grab her purse off of her shoulder and ee in an unknown direction. Officers from the 104th Precinct responded to the incident; the woman was not seriously injured. Video of the suspect, which police released on Jan. 11, can be viewed below.
