What does it take to have crowds
attend a Concert in a Cemetery?
The music of the Beatles!
St. Michael’s Cemetery has featured a Beatles Concert for the
past 5 years. The orchestra consists of string musicians and a
French horn who have been recognized nationally and
internationally.
The playlist of Beatles renowned hits captures the moment while
transporting the audience back to the days when the Fab 4 first
arrived in the USA. Favorite hits like Help, Hello Goodbye, Penny
Lane, A Day in the Life and completed by Hey Jude set the
ambience that has the audience singing along.
The performers Olga Tourkina, violin and Phillipp Petkov on piano
both of whom have won international musical competitions will be
supported in the presentation of the Beatles greatest hits by
three other remarkable talents on viola, bass and French horn.
St. Michael’s Cemetery is a community and City resource that has
served the needs of family’s since 1852. The Beatles Concert is
open to the public. Join in celebrating the music that defined a

A study of emergency care involving victims
of severe brain trauma is to be performed in this area.
Northwell Health, Neurosurgery is conducting a research study to learn if either
of two strategies for monitoring and treating patients with severe traumatic brain
injury in the intensive care unit (ICU) is more likely to help them get better.
Because head injury is a life threatening condition requiring immediate treatment,
some patients will be enrolled without consent if a family member or
representative is not rapidly available. Before the study starts, we will consult
with the community. We welcome your feedback and questions. For more
information or to decline participation in this study, please visit boost3trial.org or
