two global music artists along

Sklamberg, the lead singer of the
Grammy Award-winning Jewish
American roots band the Klezmatics,
and Sofia Rei, an Argentinian vocalist,
songwriter, producer and educator.

Volunteer Days
Join the NYC Compost Project staff to
help with on-site compost builds and
learn how composted food scraps
nourish the soil. You will help combine
over 4,000 lbs of Queens-generated
food scraps with equal parts QBG horticulture
waste. Volunteers can help
by bringing their own food scraps to
the build! All skill levels are welcome
to participate. Registration is required
