According to police, on Tuesday, August 27, a dispute broke out inside Goldfingers Infinity Gentlemen’s Club located at 27th Street near 51st Street. During the fight, one 30-year-old victim was shot in the chest and left hand, and another 29-year-old victim was shot in the left arm. Both men were taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition. The suspects are described as two black men in their 30s. One was wearing a white shirt and black jeans and the other was wearing a black shirt and black jeans. 109TH PRECINCT Downtown Flushing, East Flushing, Queensboro Hill, College Point, Malba, Whitestone, Beechhurst and Bay Terrace So much for relaxing Police say a pocketbook stolen from a locker at Spa Castle in College Point. The victim’s credit cards were then used at Target and Waldbaum’s on 20th Avenue. The NYPD is asking anyone with information regarding the suspects to call Detective Galgano at 718-321-2294. Cops make gun bust at Flushing home Police busted a Flushing man after they discovered several firearms inside his home. Kristopher Vecchio, 34, has been charged criminal possession of a weapon, according to authorities. Cops conducting a search warrant inside his 34th Avenue residence on Tuesday, August 27 found three handguns, three shotguns and five rifles. School supplies giveaway Students and parents lined Union Street to be a part of the 109th Precinct’s 3rd Annual Backpack event on Wednesday, August 21. Councilmember Peter Koo and 109th Precinct Community Council President Chrissy Voskerichian helped organize the event and handed out individual supplies to students. “There are enough supplies to fill 100 backpacks,” Koo said. “We have more people than supplies.” 111TH PRECINCT Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck, Auburndale, Hollis Hills, and Fresh Meadows Driver reverses over car in Bayside accident A pregnant woman was injured when she backed her car over another vehicle in Bayside on Friday evening, August 23. According to police, at 211st Street and Northern Boulevard, she put her Honda in reverse, drove over a sidewalk and curb, and mounted the other car. The driver was taken to the hospital. No other injuries were reported. 112TH PRECINCT Forest Hills and Rego Park Suspect wanted in Rego Park rape The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for a rape in Rego Park. On Friday, August 23, a 52-year-old woman was exiting the R train on 63rd Drive and Queens Boulevard around 10 p.m. when the suspect began to probe the woman for her name and phone number, said cops. After she refused to answer, the suspect followed her into a nearby Rite Aid, where police said he started to harass her. The suspect then left and waited for the woman outside. Once she exited the store, he followed her to her home on Saunders Street, where he allegedly grabbed her, threw her down a flight of stairs and raped her. The suspect then stole her cell phone and purse, said police. The victim was taken to an area hospital. The suspect told the victim his name is Junior, and he is described as black, in his 20s, around 5’7” inches tall and has a mustache. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. 114TH PRECINCT Astoria, Long Island City, Woodside and Jackson Heights Man arrested for allegedly raping woman at knifepoint inside Long Island City home A man has been arrested for raping a woman after breaking into her Long Island City home and the suspect is no stranger, according to police and published reports. Andres Santana, 30, entered the 22-year-old victim’s room around 3:50 a.m. Wednesday, waking her at knifepoint, and proceeded to rape the woman, said authorities. Her father, hearing the commotion, went to investigate. The two struggled, then the suspect jumped out of a closed window, injuring himself. He managed to escape, but a bloody trail led cops to him minutes later and he was arrested. Santana has been charged with rape, burglary, a criminal sex act, criminal mischief and menacing, said police. According to reports, Santana once resided on 9th Street where the woman lives and was acquainted with the victim. With additional reporting by Angy Altamirano 115TH PRECINCT East Elmhurst, North Corona and Jackson Heights Seek burglary suspects The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspects wanted in connection with a burglary. On August 9, while a Con Edison work crew was servicing a nearby residence, two suspects entered their work truck, which was parked at 108th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, and took property. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. Police have released a photo of the suspect, identified as 61-yearold  Gary  Sarback, of  Lake Worth, Florida, wanted in connection with striking an officer following a robbery. The officer was on patrol in Astoria on Thursday, August 22. He and another cop tried to pull over a pickup truck near Crescent Street and Broadway, according to authorities. Shots were fired as the suspect tried to leave the scene, striking the officer with his vehicle. Cops said the driver then ditched his truck around 37th  Avenue and 24th Street and fled on foot. Both officers were taken to Cornell Medical Center with non-threatening life injuries where they were later treated and released. According to the NYPD, before hitting the officer with the vehicle, the suspect allegedly approached a 49-year-old woman around 79th Street in Astoria at approximately 4:18 p.m. and forcibly removed her pocketbook. The victim sustained minor injuries after she chased the suspect back to his truck and was dragged by the vehicle as it fled. It was later determined that the vehicle used in the robbery was reported stolen in West Palm Beach, Florida two days earlier and that a .38 caliber revolver was inside the truck when it was taken.
