Cops seek creep who raped
woman in Jamaica alleyway
Police need the public’s help in fi nding
the suspect who grabbed a woman
off a Queens street and raped her in an
alleyway.
Th e NYPD released video footage of
the individual wanted for questioning in
the Aug. 21 attack, which took place at 11
p.m. in the area of 90th Avenue and 171st
Street in Jamaica.
According to law enforcement sources,
the attacker approached a 36-year-old
woman as she walked through the area.
He then forced the victim into a nearby
alleyway, then pushed her to the ground
and raped her.
Th e sexual assault was later reported
to the 103rd Precinct. Th e victim was
brought to a local hospital for treatment.
Th e video footage shows the suspect
standing by the counter of a nearby grocery
store. Cops described him as a white
man between 20 and 30 years of age with
a thin beard.
He’s shown wearing a gray baseball cap,
a red/purple T-shirt with a white logo on
the chest, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Thieves rob man of $10,000
in Sunnyside: NYPD
Th e NYPD is looking for two men who
assaulted and robbed a man of $10,000 in
Sunnyside last month.
Th e robbery was allegedly the fi nal stage
of a social media scam, in which the perpetrators
request the victim produce a
large sum of cash in exchange for an even
larger deposit into their bank account,
police sources said.
On Th ursday, July 30, around 1:40 p.m.,
two unidentifi ed men followed a 23-yearold
man into 45-38 40th St., according to
police.
Once in the building, the two men
punched and kicked the 23-year-old
repeatedly before taking his cellphone,
house keys, a shirt and a bag that contained
$10,000, police said.
Th e 23-year-old was taken to Mt. Sinai
Hospital – Queens, where he was treated
for a fractured nose.
Both suspects are described as being
around 25 years old, according to the
NYPD. Th e fi rst suspect was last seen
wearing a blue surgical mask, a blue shirt
and black pants. Th e second suspect was
last seen wearing a blue surgical mask, a
light-colored baseball cap, a black shirt,
pink shorts and white sneakers.

Man punches two
strangers on 7 train in
Long Island City: NYPD
Th e NYPD is looking for a man who
randomly punched two people aboard a
Manhattan-bound 7 train in Long Island
City last month.
On Monday, July 27, around 1:15 p.m.,
an unidentifi ed man punched a 39-yearold
man in the face repeatedly without
provocation while inside a moving 7 train,
according to the NYPD.
While punching the man, the assailant
noticed a 26-year-old woman fi lming the
assault, according to the police. He then
punched the woman and fl ed the train at
the Queensboro Plaza station, cops said.
Th e man ran down to the street and the
two victims were treated at the station by
EMS personnel.
Police described the man as being in his
20s. He was last seen wearing an orange
shirt, white shorts and red and white
sneakers.
No arrests have been made and the
investigation is ongoing.
