76 THE QUEENS COURIER • BUZZ • AUGUST 20, 2015 FOR BREAKING NEWS VISIT www.queenscourier.com QUEENS LIBRARY Enrich Your Life® presents The New York World’s Fairs: 1939-40 and 1964-65 More people (millions versus thousands) attended each of the two New York World’s Fairs than attended Woodstock, and the fairs created lasting memories for generations of New Yorkers. Noted historian Ron Marzlock, author of The New York World’s Fairs: 1939, 1964, presents an exciting PowerPoint presentation of 200 images of the fairs, many taken behind the scenes and never seen before. Take a trip down memory lane and learn things about the fairs that you never knew. This program is a must-see for Queens residents who attended either fair and a great education for those who didn’t.
