 One man injured, one man dead following  
 early morning shooting in Woodhaven 
 A shooting in Woodhaven early in the morning of  
 Aug. 6 left  one man dead and another in serious condition. 
 On Th  ursday, Aug. 6, around 4:24 a.m, police got word  
 that two men had been shot on the corner of 91st Street  
 and 85th Avenue, according to the NYPD. 
 Police arrived to fi nd a 19-year-old man with a gunshot  
 wound to his left  arm and Sanel Music, 21, with  
 gunshot wounds to his torso and head, cops said. EMS  
 personnel took the 19-year-old, who was in serious  
 condition, to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and the  
 Music to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he  
 was pronounced dead. 
 Police provided no information on the individual or  
 individuals who shot at the two men. 
 No arrests have been made and the investigation is  
 ongoing.

 Man attempts to rob 84-yearold  
 in Woodside: NYPD 
 Th  e NYPD is looking for a man who  
 attempted  to  rob  an  elderly  man  in  
 Woodside earlier this month. 
 On Saturday, Aug. 2, around 7:45 a.m.,  
 an 84-year-old man was in front of 43-14  
 60th St., when an unidentifi ed man came  
 from behind and tried to grab the old  
 man’s wallet from his pants, according  
 to police. 
 While attempting to steal the wallet, the  
 robber knocked the 84-year-old to the  
 ground, cops said. He hit his head on the  
 pavement and the unidentifi ed man ran  
 off  in an unknown direction, according to  
 the NYPD. While the thief didn’t take the  
 victim’s wallet, he did make off  with his  
 eyeglasses, cops said. 
 Th  e  84-year-old  was  taken  to  Long  
 Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital in stable  
 condition. 
 Th e  unidentifi ed man is described as  
 being around 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with  
 a thin build and black hair, according  
 to the NYPD. He was last seen wearing  
 a black T-shirt, black sweat pants with  
 white stripes down the leg, black sneakers,  
 a black backpack and a white face mask. 
 Police recovered surveillance footage of  
 the suspect from the location of the incident. 
 No arrests have been made and the  
 investigation is ongoing.

 Man stabbed in sneaker sale  
 gone wrong in Woodside: NYPD 
 Th  e NYPD is looking for a group of  
 seven men who allegedly stabbed and  
 stole the shoes off  the feet of a teenager in  
 Woodside last month. 
 On Wednesday, July 15, around 10:35  
 p.m., a 19-year-old man, using the social  
 media platform Snapchat, had arranged  
 to sell a pair of Yeezy sneakers to a buyer  
 with the username “Kenziedaghost” in  
 front of 48-06 46th St., according to the  
 NYPD. 
 While waiting to meet the buyer, the  
 19-year-old was surrounded by a group  
 of seven unidentifi ed men, who began to  
 kick and punch him, police said. One of  
 the assailants stabbed the victim in the  
 back, while others in the group stole $200  
 in cash from the man and stole the shoes  
 he was wearing on his feet, according to  
 the authorities. 
 Th  e 19-year-old did not bring the Yeezy  
 sneakers to the meet up, police said. 
 Th  e  man  was  taken  to  Elmhurst  
 Hospital in stable condition. 
 Th e seven men fl ed in an unknown  
 direction. No arrests have been made and  
 the investigation is ongoing.
