Happy Days Summer Camp is committed to providing a safe and fun learning environment as well as promoting and developing social-emotional relations. Their well-trained and certified staff is committed to providing a safe environment for your children. One counselor per three children helps secure the safety of the campers. Located in the Grace Church located in Whitestone, HDSC provides door-todoor service. Supervised bus companies and counselors pick-up and drop children off at their homes. Each day at the camp is filled with a variety of activities along with healthy lunches and snacks served as well. Lunches are exceptional; much better than the usual fare served. All food provided is catered by a local restaurant. The owners ensure fun-filled days that include different activities each day. Children enjoy a private pool club four days a week for swimming and instructional lesson time. Each day also hosts a “special activity”. Mondays are designated as “Movie Day” in which children enjoy a different newly-released movie each week. Tuesdays are spent at Cunningham Park for a barbecue, the playing of organized sports as well as arts and crafts. Wednesdays are spent bowling. Thursdays (something newly instituted this year) your child gets to decide between three different activities—Karate, Gymnastics or Dance. Fridays are “special trip” days. Past trips have included Adventureland Amusement Park, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not and White Post Farm to name a few. Kids enjoy busy and fun-filled days. Children also enjoy special entertainment on selective days including clowns, face painting, karaoke and dancing. This all-inclusive camp keeps children busy all day long.
