SUNDAY, MARCH 3 The Sunnyside/Woodside St. Patrick’s Day celebration will take place starting at 12:30 p.m. The parade assembly will start on Skillman Avenue ending at Woodside Avenue & 58th Street and will kick off at 2 p.m. The annual post-parade party will take place at Saints & Sinners on 60th Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside. Those marching will include LGBT contingents, community groups, children’s bands, Irish organizations and religious and civic groups. Starting at 11 a.m., take a tour of Flushing’s Chinatown. The tour will start near the New World Mall, located at 136-20 Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing. The event is being sponsored by One Flushing, a community development center that seeks to help individuals and small businesses. Fee for the tour is $15 and $10 for One Flushing participants. A traditional dim sum meal will be offered before the tour.
