St. Sebastian Catholic Academy paves the way to academic success for your child. Our academy
serves the parishes of Queen of Angels, St. Teresa, BVM Help of Christians, and St. Sebastian.
We offer FREE 3K and PreK for All programs for our littlest learners. The children have access to our
outdoor play space, receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch, and learn through play experiences in
the classroom.
We provide a values-centered curriculum based on the Next Generation Standards for grades
Kindergarten through 8. Students are immersed in an academically challenging environment
where they develop spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially.
Additional learning experiences include Library/Media, STEM, art, music, Spanish, physical
education, and health.
This year we were able to reach 1:1 technology access in the classroom for the students in grades K
through 8.
For students who need additional support we have Title I Literacy and Math, AIS, SETSS, Speech,
Occupational Therapy, and counseling.
We continue to follow all of the COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the CDC, DOHMH and the Diocese
of Brooklyn. We have had very successful in-person instruction through this pandemic and will
continue to do all we can to keep Catholic education strong and prosperous.
