A thief drove off with a woman’s
2018 Toyota RAV4 she parked on St.
Johns Place on May 25.
The victim, 57, told police she left
her brand-new carry-all between
Sixth and Seventh avenues at 5:10
p.m., and returned the next morning
to fi nd her pricey ride stolen.
Bank yeller
Cops have given up the hunt for
the fi end who threatened a woman
inside a Fifth Avenue bank on May
13.
The victim told police the woman
approached her suddenly inside
the fi nancial institution between
Eighth and Ninth streets at 11 a.m.,
screaming and shouting threats
that left her frightened.
Towering inferno
Police have called off the search
for the pyro who set fi re to the 14th
fl oor of a Nevins Street residential
building on May 8.
The fi re sprang up at the housing
complex between Warren and Baltic
streets at 9:11 a.m., and a city Fire
Marshal later ruled that the blaze
was set by some reckless fi end.
Glass hole
Some jerk busted a window to a
Flatbush Avenue commercial building
on May 19.
An employee told police the
vandal busted the window to the
building near Atlantic Avenue at
6:55 p.m., setting the business back
about $250.
Bike bandit
A thief rode off with a woman’s
bicycle she chained up at Grand
Army Plaza on May 19.
The victim told police she locked
her bike to a rack near Prospect
Park West at 2:45 p.m., and returned
three hours later to fi nd it stolen.

SUNSET PARK–WINDSOR TERRACE
Fishing rod
Police are looking for the fi shmonger
who beat a man with a
metal rod inside an Eighth Avenue
market on May 26.
The victim told police he was arguing
with the worker inside the
seafood store between 45th and 46th
streets at 7:45 p.m., when the grocer
grabbed the stick and started
whacking him with it, striking him
several times.
When police arrived, the store
was closed, cops said.
Tough love
Police cuffed a woman for allegedly
beating her 9-year-old daughter
with a sandal inside their 60th
Street home on May 21.
The victim’s grandmother told
police the suspect smacked the
youngster with a rubber sandal on
her back inside the apartment between
Fourth and Fifth avenues at
7 a.m.
The suspect, 28, was cuffed that
day on a felony assault charge, cops

Holy guacamole!
Police arrested a man for allegedly
fi ghting his way out of a Myrtle
Avenue bodega after he was caught
looting avocados on May 21.
An employee told police the suspect
was spotted fi lling his pockets
with avocados at the store near Vanderbilt
Avenue at 2:50 p.m., but when
he moved to intercept the man, he
took up a broomstick and smacked
the hapless grocer, dropping his illgotten
fruit and fl eeing.
Cops arrested the suspect later
that day and charged him with felony
robbery, offi cials said.
Pirates in the park
Three louts jumped a teen in S.
Oxford Park on May 20.
The 17-year-old victim told cops
he was sitting on a park bench near
Atlantic Commons when one brute
struck him from behind with an unknown
metal object at 4:50 p.m. The
ruffi an was joined by two others
who punched and kicked the victim
before taking his cellphone and fl eeing
the scene, according to police.
Paramedics rushed victim to
Kings County Hospital for treatment,
cops said.
Band of sinners
A group of baddies stabbed and
robbed a man in front of a Clinton
Avenue church on May 24.
Some fi ve ne’er-do-wells followed
the victim after he picked up his
paycheck at Vanderbilt Avenue and
walked towards the house of worship
near Atlantic Avenue just before
8:30 p.m., according to police.
One of the malcontents asked
the victim, “What’s up?” before the
goons took him to the ground and
he dropped his phone to protect

himself, the authorities said.
During the brawl, the victim noticed
one of the reprobates struck
him in his lower back, causing pain,
and the criminals fl ed towards Atlantic
Avenue, cops said.
He later noticed that one of the
louts had stabbed him and he went
to Wyckoff Medical Center for treatment,
according to police.
Delinquent duo
Two nogoodniks robbed a teen
on Vanderbilt Avenue on May 25.
The 15-year-old victim told police
that he was between Gates and
Greene avenues at 5:40 p.m. when the
two good-for-nothings came from
behind, grabbed him, and snatched
his phone, belt, and cash.
Scoot!
A villain struck a woman with
a baby scooter on Saint Edwards
Street on May 22.
The victim told cops that the
wretch was having an argument
with her near Park Avenue at 6 p.m.
before she swung the scooter at her,
striking the victim’s shoulder.
Scorched
Cops arrested a woman for allegedly
hurling a cup of hot coffee at an
employee, causing burns to her face
and body, at a Flatbush Avenue Extension
restaurant on May 23.
The victim told cops that she
asked the suspect to take her feet off
of a chair inside the eatery near Fulton
Street at 4:20 a.m., causing the
two to begin arguing.
The suspect then allegedly
hurled the hot beverage at the victim,
burning her face, neck, and
chest, according to police.
Cops arrested the suspect on the
scene just after 5 a.m., according to
the authorities.
Slash attack
Cops arrested a Queens woman
they believe slashed a woman at
Saint Edwards Street on May 23.
The suspect allegedly attacked
the victim near Park Avenue at 10
p.m., stabbing her shoulder and
slashing her abdomen, causing serious
injury, before paramedics
rushed the victim to Brooklyn Hospital,
police reported.
Police caught up with the alleged
stabber and arrested her the next
day just after 2 a.m., according to
the report.
Taxing attack
A passenger attacked a cab driver
on Fulton Street on May 25 — giving
him a black eye.
The victim told cops he was driving
four passengers to their destination
near Hudson Avenue at 12:05
p.m.
When he stopped to let them out,
one of his fares, who was sitting in
the front passenger seat, began assaulting
him, police reported.
Paramedics rushed the victim to
Methodist Hospital, said cops.

Knock down
A brute knocked a woman to the
ground on Bond Street on May 20.
The victim told cops she was
crossing near Fulton Street when
the lout knocked her to the ground
causing her to hit her head on the
ground and sustaining her head injuries
at 10:55 a.m.
The nogoodnik then fl ed towards
Albee Square W. and nearby security
brought the victim to Cobble
Hill hospital, said police.
Threw the book
An employee assaulted a guy at a
Boerum Place gym on May 20.
The victim was having a dispute
with the brute about his gym membership
and the malcontent hit him
in the head with a book and fl ed the
scene, at Pacifi c Street at 5:20 p.m.,
according to cops.
Slide to unlock
Police arrested a man they suspect
of breaking into a Duffi eld
Street apartment on May 23.
The suspect allegedly broke into
the fl at by sliding a credit card into
the door lock, before he allegedly
took $200 in cash from the victim’s
room between Willoughby and Fulton
Streets at 3:35 p.m.
Cops arrested the man at the location
at 4:50 p.m.
Wayward Citi Bike
Police busted a man who allegedly
stole a Citi Bike on Avenue S on
May 22.
The suspect was allegedly riding
the stolen bike towards Ocean
Avenue, going through red lights
and riding on the sidewalk when offi
cers from the 61st Precinct picked
him up at 12:50 p.m., said cops.
The bike had previously been stolen
from a Jay Street stand on April
25 between Tillary and Johnson
streets around 4:50 p.m., a representative
for the bike-sharing program
