Cops seek knife-wielding man in PLG purse theft

Cops are hunting the knife-wielding
wacko who slashed a 53-year-old
woman amid a bloody purse snatching
in Prospect Lefferts Gardens earlier
this month.
The victim told police she was on
Maples Street between Brooklyn and
New York Avenues at 9:50 a.m. on May
16, when the wretch attempted to rip
the purse from her shoulder.
But the woman wasn’t ready to
roll over, and she put up a struggle
that spurred the blade-toting bandit
to slash her once across the belly, and
then again under the eye, cops said.
Bloodied, the victim relinquished
her purse, and the lowlife fl ed with
the credit cards and $100 it contained,
cops said.
Paramedics, meanwhile, rushed to
the victim’s aid, transporting her to a
nearby hospital for treatment, and she’s
since been released, according to police.

fi ends who lit up a Bedford-Stuyvesant
subway station on May 21, striking an
innocent bystander.
The gunmen drew pistols inside the
Franklin Avenue station near Fulton
Street at 10:20 p.m., when they opened
fi re on — and missed — another unidentifi
ed man, cops said.

Cops are hunting the creep who
grabbed a 17-year-old girl’s rear end inside
a Prospect Heights subway station
in the early morning May 23.
The girl told police she was inside
the Atlantic Terminal subway station
near Flatbush Avenue at 7:15 a.m.
when the pervert started fondling her
backside. The vermin had no sooner
copped a feel than the young woman
let out a scream, and the coward scurried
off into the station, cops said.
Investigators are looking for a man
in his 20s, described as 5 feet 6 inches
tall and 160 pounds.
